New head at Citi Service Center Poland
This August, the Polish branch of Citi experienced a change of top leadership. Iwona DudziÅ„ska has replaced Terri Gerosa as the center’s head. For the former, the new job involves managing over 4,000 employees in organization’s Polish facilities - EMEA AML Operations and Citi Service Center Poland (CSC).
Citi Service Center Poland is located in both Warsaw and Olsztyn and is one of the biggest shared services centers in the country. Its employees provide business support to Citi’s regional and global branches. The center offers a wide spectrum of operations, technology-based solutions and infrastructure, hiring both Polish and foreign experts.
I have obtained the position of CSC Poland Head when Polish Business Services Sector is gaining its global reputation and attracting investors from all over the world. Citi Service Center Poland is part of this very efficient business, employing over 200,000 people. I will do my best to strengthen our position as one of the leaders of shared services. I am excited to take up this challenge, since the CSC team in Poland consists of high-profile experts, who are deeply engaged in their work, says Iwona Dudzińska.
Iwona has been part of Citi for 25 years, exactly since Citibank entered the Polish market. In the past she was responsible for ICG operations and the 2001 merger of Bank Handlowy and Citi. She played a key part in creating Citibank Europe branch in Poland and launching CSC Poland. Iwona was particularly responsible for ICG, GCB and Enterprise O&T at Bank Handlowy. She was also Board Member of Bank Handlowy until she transferred to EMEA AML Operations.
Another Citi top official, SÅ‚awomir S. Sikora, is convinced of Iwona’s ability to be a great leader in Citi’s regional structures:
I have been working with Iwona for many years and I am sure that her leadership will bring lots of inspiration to CSC Poland team. Both clients and employees will benefit from this decision.
The previous head, Terri Gerosa, is leaving for New York to be Citi AML program director.
