Italy: Several Airports Plan to Walk Out on July 5
On July 5, airport staff in several hubs in Italy, plan to go on a strike. This move will impact air travelling, potentially leading to cancellations of flights or delays, as Euronews reports.

Ireland: Hundreds of Flights Cancelled Until July 7
Until July 7, Aer Lingus Airline was forced to cancel up to 400 flights. The reason for these cancellations was the work-to-rule strike, announced by the pilots of the flag carrier on June 26. This strike is highly likely to continue impacting flights, as pilots will not work outside their schedules nor accept changes to their schedules.
The airlines’ staff pushing for higher salaries needed, even required the country’s Labour Court intervention, which was scheduled for July 3. Regardless of any changes that can be made during this hearing, passengers are highly encouraged to always stay informed.

France: Public Transport in Paris to Be Affected During Olympics
Up until September, which would mark the end of the Olympic Games, France can be dealing with issues in public transport.
The CGT-RATP union has previously announced that anytime between February 5 and September 9, there can be strikes in the French region of Ile-de-France regarding bus and metro network.
This corresponds with the Olympic Games 2024, which are scheduled to take place from July 26 to September 8 in Paris. The Fench Senate has adopted a bill that would ban strikes in the transport sector during big events, such as the Olympics. The same bill urges staff to warn of strikes months in advance. Workers of public transport are taking industrial action regarding disputes over salaries.

Netherlands: Public Transport Strikes to Ocurr on September 12
On September 12, public transport awaits several cities in the Netherlands, as staff has threatened to walk out on this date.
The industrial action will follow the Cabinet’s budget proposal, which might include early retirement for those in physically demanding jobs.
