Speaking on behalf of the group, student representative Senol Beyaz said that all required documents had been submitted months ago, including additional financial proof, but many applicants remain without a response.
Beyaz expressed frustration over inconsistent reasons provided for visa denials and errors in the processing of applications, such as misspelled names, which raised doubts about the care taken by consular staff.
Scholarship at Risk Due to Delays
Another protesting student shared her concerns, stating that the visa delay might cause her to lose her scholarship and housing support from Bologna University. She stressed that these delays are jeopardizing her opportunity to study in Italy.
