New information points for foreigners
Relocation to another country always comes with a number of challenges - that's why you can't overestimate the value of professional assistance. Fortunately, Poland has decided to open more information centres aiming to help foreign nationals.
Poland has recently opened six new information points for foreigners within the framework of The Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund. The aim of the project is to provide foreigners from outside the EU (including foreign nationals of Polish origin) with practical help and information related to legal stay, work, healthcare, family reunification or childcare in Poland. The information points are to be staffed by counsellors, lawyers, translators and psychologists, whose professional guidance can facilitate the process of integration of newcomers. The programme, which is implemented by the Pomorskie Voivodeship Office in Gdańsk, will also include Polish language courses (for adults and children), Polish history and culture classes and specialised training services dedicated to both foreigners and future members of staff.
The information points are located in the following towns and cities:
- Gdańsk (ul. Dobra 8)
- Gdynia (ul. Jęczmienna 8)
- Kartuzy (ul. 3 Maja 2/14)
- Starogard Gdański (ul Rycerska 5)
- Chojnice (ul. MarszaÅ‚ka Józefa PiÅ‚sudskiego 30A)
- SÅ‚upsk (ul. Ojca Pio 2)
