

Switzerland Reopens 15 Border Crossing Points
The Swiss government has decided to reopen 15 border crossings with Austria, France and Italy, in eight cantons, in its second phase of the partial easing of the COVID-19 temporary restrictions.
Switzerland shut the borders on March 25, as part of efforts to stop the spread of the Coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19),
Despite opening the new borders, the border with Germany will remain closed until May 15, for now.
Below you can find the crossing points that have been reopened by the Federal Council of Switzerland;
Geneva
Certoux: Chancy I, Croix-de-Rozon: entry from France into Switzerland from 6 am to 9 am.
Landecy: entry from France into Switzerland from 6 am to 9 am, return to France from 5 pm to 7 pm
Grisons / Graubünden
Spiess: to and from Samnaun, from 8 am to 11:00 am
Jura
Fahy: entry from France into Switzerland from 5 am to 8 am, return to France from 4 pm to 7 pm
Neuchâtel
Biaufond: entry from France into Switzerland from 5 am to 8 am, return to France from 4 pm to 8 pm
Soleure / Solothurn
Flüh: Swiss – French border open in both directions open from 5 am to 8 pm, seven days a week
Ticino
Camedo, Ponte Faloppia: 5 am to 9 am and 4 pm to 7 :30 pm
Pizzamiglio: open from 5 am to 9 am and from 4 pm to 9 pm
Brusata: from 5 am to 8 pm
Valais:
Morgins: open from 5 am to 7 pm
Vaud:
Crassier: entry from France into Switzerland from 6 am to 9 am
L’Auberson: entry from France into Switzerland from 5 am to 9 am
In its attempt to relax some of its imposed restrictions, last month, Swiss authorities decided to reopen five border crossing points with France, in the canton of Geneva.
The border crossing points that have been reopened last month are Mategnin, Soral II, Monniaz, Veigy and Landecy.
On May 4, Switzerland reopened three border crossing points between Italy and Canton Ticino. Crossing points at Ponte Cremenaga, Brusino and Ligornetto have been opened on workdays and passable at specific periods.
